The Roads and Highways Department of Bangladesh (RHD), with the support of the Office of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), has planned implementation of the four lanes of the Joydevpur-Debogram-Bhulta- Madanpur (N105) Road, as the Dhaka By-Pass Road Project in PPP format. The road is contemplated to include a controlled access toll road and a two-lane service road along 48 kilometers that link with the National Highways N1, N2, N3, and N4. The project would provide a significant arterial connection between the industrial zone of the North and North East, with the port connection to Chittagong in the South.
